Page 355--3s2 Explaining the real and wide Difference there is, amidst the plaufible Sameness of good and Scriptural Words, between two Sorts of Doclrine, or Teaching, now obtaining in the Cbristian World: Which, however, sufficiently diltinguifh themselves, to the observant Eye, by their Fruits and Effects respectively. The one Sort is that of the Essential Spirit of Christ-, and the other that of the Figurative, Natural, and Human Spirit: Or, what being a Man's Own, may be termed the Personal Spirit. Which DistinBion is most surely grounded upon a reallysubfisting, and incontestable Difference; very needsul, and usesul to be known of all, in these degenerate Days; both on God's Account, and for every Reader's Security, againlt all Religious Deceit and Delufion. Testified to the Lovers of the Truth, by Way of Counter part, or Echo to the Divine Life within their own Hearts; which will surely correspond with, and answer to it's Voice. All by HIEL the One-essential Life of God.' ADVERTISEMENT to the REAiy-R of the following LETTER. THE Translator beseeches thee, friendly Reader, not to take any over-hasty Offence, when in the following weighty Piece, thou shalt find this Author recommending the Doclrine coming from Hiel, in Preference to that, which comes from all other Personal Spirits whatsoever.
