Accelerating Action Against AIDS in Africa

This report considers successful initiatives in relation to prevention and control activities being undertaken across the African continent in response to the challenges of HIV/AIDS. It discusses policies to close gaps in prevention and treatment, and highlights the importance of co-ordinated government responses, working in partnership with communities and business. It also looks at the role of Africa's women and young people in fighting the AIDS epidemic.
