Ageing Populations : Opportunities and Challenges for Europe and North America

Population ageing trends are of key importance with profound economic and social implications which will need to be addressed through a coherent system of policy measures. This document details the declaration and action plan agreed at an UNECE ministerial conference held in Germany in September 2002.
