The fifth edition of American Politics and Society has been completely revised and updated to provide a clear and concise introduction to US politics for all students of politics and government. The book includes commentary on the November 2000 election and the new presidency giving readers the most up-to-date assessment available. This edition also features new text features such as "controversies" for each major subject covered, and expanded further reading, all designed to encourage student participation.
