Compensation for Loss of Pension Rights

This publication contains guidelines prepared by a committee of chairmen of employment tribunals, the Government Actuary and a member of his Department. It supersedes "Industrial tribunals: compensation for loss of pension rights" (2nd ed., 1991) (ISBN 0113613245). The book provides background data relating to the different categories of State Pensions, and of occupational pension schemes, and to pension loss. The seven appendices include useful actuarial tables, for example, tables for loss of enhancement calculations in final salary schemes.
