Construction Law and Related Issues
Leverbaar
Construction Law is a comprehensive reference source for all those actively involved in building, engineering and construction who seek to extend their knowledge of construction law and related issues. The waste, frustration, cost, disruption to business, and delay caused by litigation are not always fully appreciated. This work will assist those who are actively involved in seeking a negotiated settlement to their differences. Whilst the traditional areas of building and civil engineering work are covered, there is an emphasis on mechanical, electrical, and process plant engineering issues. An international perspective on contractual claims and administration of contracts provides reference to cases which may be of persuasive value in our courts. Matters are dealt with by studying principles and cases so that they may be applied to whatever conditions of contract may be in question.
