Construction Site Safety

For over 25 years, Construction Site Safety GE 700 has been the industry standard for health and safety. It is revised annually to take into account the latest legislative changes and new or updated guidance and procedures. The 2010 CD-ROM is the most user-friendly yet, featuring easy-to-understand controls and a full search facility. Please note that you are unable to print the modules or cut/copy and paste text from them. 60 of the 65 modules cover specific topic areas in relation to health, safety, welfare and the environment, and the remaining five, in the Miscellaneous section, provide information that may be helpful to people on site. The content of each module balances the requirements of relevant legislation, as it applies to the construction industry, with providing practical guidance on how to comply with the legislation. By studying individual modules, users will therefore be able to assess the legal responsibilities of themselves and others and decide how best to organise work activities in a safe and healthy manner. Main changes reflect the coming into force of the Health and Safety (Offences) Act 2008 (A2) and The Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2009 (B3). Changes to G1 and G2 include updated environmental and waste legislation.
