e-Justice

This book is captioned as e-Justice for the Bench and the Bar. e-Justice is an interdisciplinary approach of Judiciary in the field of information technology which could change the facet of judiciary by click of a mouse. The idea for this book borne out of a necessity of disposal of mounting number of cases expendiously imperiously with accuracy and precision by usage of computers, a boon of modern society. There is practically no book dealing with this subject-matter for members of judicial fraternity with practical information about computer applications and judicial information system and thus, this book has been envisioned as a guide for judicial professional especially, who need to learn how to use computer applications in their work places. A study had been made by collecting and culling out of material from various sources. This book had been devised into three parts. Part I dealing with Basics of Computers, Part II dealing with Principles of e-Justice and Part III dealing with Practical aspects of e-justice. This book is intended for a novice and technocrat alike. A thorough reading of Part I will make a novice, a technocrat overnight. Part II and Part III deal with judiciary and as such there is at present every possibility that most of them who deal with the judiciary are novices in computers and for them Part I is intended to make them techno-savvy overnight. Instantly they will become technocrats dealing with Information Technology, on par with judiciary. This is in more pertinence to various court staff, who has to deal with Part III Practices, who are at present novices. A reading of Part II and Part III along with Annexures will very definitely provoke legal fraternity as to how innovative the matter stated herein are and why this easiest methods of dealing with cases were not thought of earlier. I invite all to read, get imbibed into it and put forth their own ideas and methods of exploration of the subject. IT applications in judiciary is the need of the day.
