Eastbourne

A collection of over 240 photographs documenting life in the seaside town of Eastbourne, in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This book records the aspects of everyday life from shops and hospitals to sports and the war years. It also features the landmarks and recalls events such as the moving of the Belle Tout lighthouse in 1999.
