The study of faith and its development is of crucial concern to Christian Educators. However, the concept of faith is not static and frequently depends both on one's starting point, as well as on social and cultural understandings of the term. This book introduces and explores some of the issues which arise in a contemporary culture in which spirituality is increasingly seen as the preferred option to faith and religion, basing the discussion in an overall understanding of human learning. In an age with a significant increase in interest in spirituality, yet with an equal suspicion of faith and religion, the book fills a gap in exploring the inter-relationship of these within the context of learning and of human growth and development.
