Family in International and Regional Human Rights Instruments

As a univerasl institution, the familiy is the cornerstone of life in society. It is however, constnatly evolving and assuming different roles, depending on the social, policial and economic context. This publication discusses the rights of the family as defined in various United Nations human rights instruments.
