Featherbugs

Visiting the studio loft of the Cirque du Soleil doll artist, the author observed little insects adorned with colorful feathers scurrying across the floor. Closer inspection revealed these unfamiliar species were wearing some of the tiny feathers the artist used in making the doll's hats. The reader is drawn into the vulnerable world of bugs who try and fail and try again until they succeed with the unexpected help of their unlikely friend. The story conveys a message of hope in the resolution of problems as the bugs learn to appreciate who and what they are and the artist learns to appreciate them as well.
