Global Development Finance 2000

This 2000 edition of "Global Development Finance", the World Bank's review of developing countries' external debt and financial flows, includes a special chapter that takes a historical look at private capital flows over the 20th century, and suggests from this review what the lessons are for the future. Volume one contains analysis and commentary on recent developments in international finance for developing countries, together with summary statistical tables for selected regional and analytical groups comprising 150 developing countries. Volume two contains statistical tables on the external debt of the 136 countries that report public and publicly guaranteed debt under the Debtor Reporting System. In this edition volume two is shorter and re-designed, with enhanced content. With consolidated statistics for all developing countries this CD-ROM should be of use to those involved in the foreign direct investment decision making process throughout the world.
