This volume contains Case Law of the (UN) Human Rights Committee and the European Court of Human Rights as used by international and European jurists for the purpose of study, advice, and case solving in the field of Human Rights Law. This volume is part of a series of Law Collections published by Bynkershoek Publishing, aimed at making relevant sources of law in the broadest sense of the word available at reasonable costs. Bynkershoek Law Collections may contain treaties, EU instruments, national legislation and case law. Bynkershoek Publishing is an activity of the Bynkershoek Institute (The Hague Institute for Law & Practice Cornelius Bynkershoek). The Bynkershoek Institute aims to contribute to the further development of the practice and research of law, the harmonization of the various legal traditions around the globe, and (therewith) the fostering of global justice. The current law collection is compiled for the course Human Rights Law of the International Bachelor of Law Program of The Hague University and may be potentially useful in other courses on Human Rights Law, as well as of practical use for practitioners.
