The In-house Lawyer Directory is a new directory from Sweet & Maxwell providing a host of information on the in-house lawyers of the largest private and public companies in the UK. Profiles include 'insider information' about the size and structure of the teams as well as law firms and lawyers instructed. The profiles include: Full company contact details including website and email Primary industry within which the company operates and key competitors A brief description of the business and subsidiaries The general counsel and individual lawyers in the legal team are identified The size and structure of the legal team The law firms and specifically the partners instructed regularly and whether these firms are managed as part of a panel The number of employees and turnover of the company Identification of who has responsibility for corporate governance and compliance When the law firm panel will next be reviewed and when it was last reviewed Whether the external legal spend increased or decreased in 2007 from 2006 What type of legal work and what percentage of legal work is outsourced
