It expands on an earlier exercise to provide the metadata for the socio-economicindicators that make up the United Nations Common Country Assessment Indicator Framework.Preparation of this handbook was directed by an Inter-Agency Working Group of the United Nations Development Group, including the World Bank, chaired by the United Nations Population Fund and co-chaired by the United Nations Statistics Division and the United Nations Development Programme.
