Now, at last, there is a single reference which gives you the meanings of short forms from all branches of science. The Encyclopedia contains approximately 800,000 abbreviations. Included in the 17 volumes are two supplementary and seven reverse volumes. The annual Yearbook volumes each contain approximately 68,000 new entries.
