K.D. Srivastava's Commentaries on Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923

The sixth edition of the work on "Workmen's Compensation" brings the case-law and the amended statutory law, up-to-date till the date of publication. A new case law and statute law supplement has been added to the book, bringing it up-to-date till 2003. The entire case-law has been arranged and summarised so as to bring out clearly the rationale underlying it. While dealing with the case-law on the subject of personal injury caused by accident arising out of and in the course of employment, the salient points deducible from the decided cases, both English and Indian, have been put together, so as to give at one place the now established principles in this area. The Central Rules under the Act, and the Rules made by various states and recent Notifications have been included in the work.
