Labour Force Statistics, 1982-2002

This publication provides detailed annual statistics on key elements of the labour force for the 30 member countries of the OECD. Through the provision of extended time series shown in this publication it is possible to identify structural changes that have taken place in the labour force of these countries with respect to gender, age, activities etc. for the major elements of the labour force including those in the labour force employed or unemployed. In two parts - part one contains summary tables showing the same aggregates fro all OECD member countries as well as for some OECD country groupings for the years 1979 to 2002. Part two contains tables by country for the years 1982 to 2002, each country has four or five basic tables as well as summary methodological information. The tables are standardised for all countries.
