Lady Kaguya's Secret : A Japanese Tale

Adopted as an infant by a bamboo cutter, Kaguya is in reality a lady of the Moon, and cannot marry. Eventually the Emperor succeeds in touching her heart and she begs her father, the Moon King, to allow her to stay on Earth.
