Lifecraft : The Art of Meaning in the Everyday
Leverbaar
In Lifecraft, Forrest Church challenges much of the modern search for meaning -- indeed, the entire thrust of modern theology. Lifecraft challenges us to imagine ourselves as "a consortium of personae", rather than as a fixed identity: "Imagine your life as a series of works in progress presented daily at a craft fair. Each day's exhibits present an overlapping series of projects -- the child project, the parent project, the vocation project, the justice project, even the God project". Otherwise, Church says, we will inevitably think either too much or too little of ourselves.
