Each year the "IBS Sales League Table" ("SLT") summary is avidly sought and read by professionals across the industry. This report reveals the detail behind the figures, providing a unique insight into the international banking systems market. By using licence fee information the report also estimates the value of the international market. The 2009 edition includes: a detailed list of over 800 'on the record' deals showing the vendor, system, bank and country of installation for 2006, 2007 and 2008; a breakdown of all the deals by Supplier Type of system (universal, wholesale, retail and private and lending); Region Country Calculations of the total value of the market using Initial Licence Fee (ILF) data; expert commentary on the results; and market forecasts. The report shows the market trends emerging over the past three years. Alongside the facts and figures, IBS draws on two decades of experience to provide incisive commentary. This brings visibility to the business drivers, selection challenges, decision-making, and future direction of the sector. In addition we analyse 2008 sales by the world ranking size of the banks involved. About the "IBS Sales League Table" - "The IBS Sales League Table" is universally acknowledged as the barometer for international core banking systems sales for the last 16 years. It covers all the international suppliers' sales in over 150 countries. The table is compiled annually from submissions from each supplier detailing the names of the banks that have bought their systems in the year. Some wins will be on-the-record and some not for publication. For instance, for the years 2005-2007 there were over 1200 recorded sales of which 70 percent were on-the-record. IBS verifies each submission by reference to its own market coverage and previous years' submissions. Licence renewals and extensions to the systems within a bank are excluded.
