Moving Experiences : Understanding Television's Influences and Effects
Leverbaar
This study on the effects of television programs on children and other audiences argues that much of the blame on television programs for social problems and antisocial acts is misplaced and that the methodology used to justify it is deeply flawed. The contention is made that when these broader causes are confronted, it becomes apparent that it is not only the effects of television that need to be addressed but a much wider relationship, including the reverse effects of society on television.
