My First Forty Years

I wrote this esoteric autobiography to help me make sense of my life. In addition to my journey through loneliness to happiness, working my way from a broken home in a Scottish council estate to qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in a global firm and beyond, I show my ups and downs and how I kept picking myself back up. I reveal how I have at several times in my life achieved things that were perhaps unlikley at the time. By the time that I reached forty I knew that there was something more to life, something that I wasn't quite getting, from which I have in subsequent years been able to answer the eternal questions.
