Polygonia : A Story of a Southern African Country

A highly topical book focusing on the recent transition of South Africa under white rule to the hypothetical state of Polygonia under black rule.The author, resident in South Africa, gives insights into the situation as it develops in that country from the point of view of Joseph Khuzwayo, a young black man who becomes increasingly aware of the shortcomings of the political and social situation. He goes abroad for military and political training, as so many have done, and returns some time later, undercover, to attempt to subvert the system and overthrow it.Joseph has to struggle against the well organised security apparatus under the control of Marius Wessels, the Minister of Internal Security, and General van Wyk, the head of the police.The culmination of the struggle is an expression of the author's hopes for peace and harmony in the future of the country.
