Providing Materials for Library Users

This text provides clear guidance on basic selection procedures for both print-based and electronic materials, and it covers the important povision versus access debate. Key strategies and techniques for information users at the dawn of the new millenium are covered in-depth. The requirements of certain categories of 'special materials' are then considered in the light of these strategies and techniques.
