He went on to record with Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Sarah Vaughan, Herb Ellis, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Sun Ra, and many more. Editor and musician Anthony Barnett is the author of POEM ABOUT MUSIC (Providence, RI, 1974). He serves as editor to Fable Bulletin: Violin Improvisation Studies, and is a contributor to the second editions of New Grove Dictionary of Music & Musicians and of Jazz.
