Safeguarding space Security : Prevention of an arms race in outer space: conference report 21-22 March 2005

This publication contains a number of papers presented at an international conference on security issues and the peaceful use of outer space, held in Geneva in March 2005, as well as the conference report. Participants, who included experts from industry, science, governments and non-governmental organisations, explored ways of ensuring that outer space remains a non-threatening environment and available for the peaceful use of all.
