Taking Law to the People : Gender, Law Reform, and Community Legal Education in Zimbabwe

This study analyses the challenges which face organisations charged with transmitting laws to the people; and examines the many factors - culture, gender, communication methods and organisational models - which impact on the reception of state law. The publication stems from research conducted by the Women's Law Centre at the University of Zimbabwe, and draws on experiences of the Harare Legal Projects Centre.
