The Sociology of Architecture : Constructing Identities

Architecture reveals, in a tangible, material sense, power. This book outlines that architecture exists in a highly contested context vis-a-vis the construction of collective identities, and is, in some senses, an 'open' discourse that has lost the capacity to represent an order of values or identities in an uncontested way.
