The United Kingdom Environmental Change Network : Protocols for Standard Measurements at Terrestrial Sites

This volume explains the need for, and development of ECN (Environmental Change Network), the UK's long-term environmental monitoring programme. It provides protocols for the wide range of standardized core measurements, covering physical, chemical and biological variables, made at each of the Network's terrestrial sites. It also details the systems used in ECN for data recording, database management and quality assurance.
