This publication is the seventh in the series of guides designed to promote familiarity in transition economies with best practice regarding trade and investment and related legal and commercial activities. It is based on the proceedings of a workshop, held in Belarus in October 2001, which focuses on the problems encountered by small and medium-sized enterprises in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.
