Violence against women and children; vision, innovation and professionalism in policing, VIP guide

This guide has been designed to promote awareness amongst police officers of the different forms of violence agaist women and children, including trafficking. This document will, amongst other things provide access to vision and understanding which has informed new police responses to violence against women; give examples of innovation within European policing; enable police officers using it to develop their professionalism; and offer trainers and managers a resource to inform their efforts to develop good practice.
