Teri Giles is a widowed mother of two with a double life. Raising two teenagers is hard enough, but it's not just two. Her daughter's best friend is practically living with them. Her son is part of a band, and two of its members have moved in with a third spending nearly every night there. A successful career as an erotic photographer allows Teri to support the household, although she conceals her colorful job by using the pseudonym Lexi Frost. Her skill attracts the attention of businessman Paul Lovett, but Teri isn't looking for another relationship. While dodging Paul's attention, she catches the eye of rock star Flynn Peterson at an impromptu photo-shoot. Flynn's immediately taken with her and feels they have a connection, but Paul has a head start. Paul did his homework and lets Teri know he knows her secrets. She agrees to date him, and falls in love with him. Her teenage horde are divided on how they feel about the news that Teri is dating again when she announces she's bringing Paul home to meet them. Then one of the boys discovers Paul's divorce was never finalized, breaking Teri's heart. After a difficult separation, Paul gets a chance to explain. His estranged wife is using his children to blackmail him into not divorcing her. Flynn has another photo-shoot set up for his own band. He also has the option to mentor her son's band as another way to re-establish himself in the running for Teri's attention, but it's too late. Teri's son isn't fond of Paul but she's already forgiven him, accepting his predicament. Paul's won over the rest of the house as well. Despite her son's protests, Teri invites Paul to move in and they prepare for their own happily ever after ending. For now.
