Taken together, the ten articles in this issue of On The Horizon present ten disparate perspectives on the phenomenon of complexity in modern life. The presence of common themes and insights in all of the papers, strengthens the impression that dealing with complexity will be an increasing challenge for society, business and governance in the years ahead. Happily, several of our authors report that it is possible to teach young people skills that they will need to deal with that complexity.
