El Castellano de Getxo : Estudio Empírico de Aspectos Morfológicos, Sintácticos y Semánticos de una Variedad Del Castellano Hablado en el País Vasco

This study, departing from a variational perspective, analyses the variety ofSpanish spoken in the Basque Country and, more specifically, in the town of Getxo. The first, theoretical, part provides a definition of the concept of "Spanish of the Basque Country"?, while the second, empirical, part discusses 17 linguistic phenomena featuring in a corpus of 20 interviews conducted with monolingual speakers of Spanish.
