The Battle We Didn't Choose - My Wife's Fight with Breast Cancer

On September 1, 2007 I married the girl of my dreams. Five months later Jennifer was diagnosed with breast cancer. A little over 2 years later Jen's cancer metastasized to her liver and bone. We noticed that most people were not aware of the challenges that we faced every day. Sadly, so many of them did not want to hear these realities and we felt our support fading away. When words failed, I turned to the only other way I know to communicate -- my camera. These photographs show our daily life; they humanize the face of cancer, on the face of my wife. More than a story of loss and death, this is a story of love, life and hope.
