This third revised and expanded edition is true to its original intent - to provide legally reliable translations of the 2000 most frequently used Dutch legal terms and to place these terms in their appropriate context. Associations with Common Law systems are avoided in the translations, but only where use of American or English terms would give rise to legal misunderstanding.
New to this edition are chapters on Intellectual Property, Competition Law and Construction Law, and the author has added explanatory endnotes.
