Purplewood Hill is much more than a detective. While DI Sandel follows her instincts about the mystery of a woman found dead on the ledge of the hill, she stumbles into some facts about her mother she rather wouldn't know. Meanwhile, Eliza is struggling with her past in an effort to do what is best for her son Tiger. In tunnels under the hill, and the woods surrounding the small and rural village Purplewood Hill, some strange beings are fighting an ancient war. And somehow it is all connected.
