Samenvatting
Although Peckers Wood Golf Club lifted the ban on canines and females years ago and dogs are frequently seen frolicking alongside the fairways, the all-male establishment regards newly appointed Lady Captain Philly Hackkett and her tiny section as a nuisance.
Nevertheless, the girls adore playing the beautiful mature course together and are shocked when they find out the club’s finances are in the rough. Old codgers are passing to eternal greens and rising competition from recently opened Goodlie Golf is becoming a hazard.
The management needs a fresh approach - and fast - in order for the club to survive.
