Each chapter tells the story of a different hedgehog, in a unique location, in a different month – realistic, moving and written with love.

The hedgehogs in this book are fictional, but what they experience is real. Traffic, petrification, drought, disappearing insects: these are problems that hedgehogs have to deal with every day. Through their eyes you get to know their world – and their vulnerability.

You can read this book as you like: per month, per hedgehog year, or just whenever you feel like it. In between you will find hedgehog facts, gardening tips and ideas to do something yourself for the hedgehogs in your neighborhood.
