Sabrina Montiel-Soto & Renata Siqueira Bueno. The Third

In this publication, Sabrina Montiel-Soto and Rinata Siqueira-Bueno develop a collaborative visual narrative at the intersection of photography and visual arts. Drawing on the themes of nature and dystopia, they portray a world in which the boundaries between reality and imagination blur, and where growth, decay, hope, and uncertainty remain in constant dialogue.

Through traces, living forms, and human remnants, a layered narrative emerges, envisioning a future in which humanity appears increasingly disconnected from its natural origins, while nature continues to assert its resilience and presence. Oppositions such as openness and constraint, presence and absence, control and surrender generate new meanings and reveal unexpected narrative possibilities.

The artist’s book creates a contemplative visual space that resists a single interpretation. Instead, its images invite reflection on the relationship between humans and nature, on the traces left behind, as well as on the possibility of a renewed future.
